Architecture: Doubletree by Hilton Suzhou opens

Hilton Worldwide announced the opening of DoubleTree by Hilton Suzhou, which marks the debut of the DoubleTree by Hilton brand in Suzhou City, China.

Designed by renowned architect Hiroshi Miyazawa (who also designed the Kansai International Airport and Beijing TV Center) the hotel features 357 guest rooms and 181 one, two, and three-bedroom suites, with full kitchens and separate living and work areas, for longer-stay guests. Amenities include 40-inch LCD televisions and high-speed Internet access. DoubleTree by Hilton Suzhou has a 24-hour business center and ample meeting space,  a spa, indoor pool and the 24-hour fitness center.

A variety of dining and entertainment options is available including the all-day dining bistro, OPEN, which features interactive chef pods that serve a wide selection of Asian cuisines, Western grill items and fresh seafood. YUXI Chinese restaurant offers local favorites, regional specialties and Cantonese cuisine in an elegant setting, complete with 11 private dining rooms. BACIO features traditional Italian fare including pizzas, pastas, as well as seafood and meat specialties. YUAN lobby lounge offers a comfortable space for informal meetings, work and relaxation, with the finest teas and cocktails available throughout the day. Beer Society sports bar is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a wide range of beer, classic bar food and live band performances. Guests can also drop in at GRAB & GO for snacks and baked goods.
