L’Alcova is a charming “petit” hotel located in the little mountain village of Montardit de Baix. It is housed in a traditional, 19th-century building and is full of enchanting original features. Enjoy a peaceful or exciting time in the majestic Pyrenees Mountains, explore the ancient village or head to nearby Sort (2 km) to try its range of adventure sports. Several ski resorts are in the vicinity.

Rooms are decorated in a typical mountain lodge style – bare stone walls, terracotta tiled floor and wood-beamed ceilings. These are blended with modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and private bathrooms (one with a hydro massage shower). Three rooms have their own balcony. There is also an apartment available sleeping 4/5 persons with two bedrooms, separate living room, fully equipped kitchen, terrace and second balcony.

At the magical hotel restaurant “El Celler dels Joglars” enjoy unique Modernist decor complementing the delicious creative cuisine based on traditional local recipes.

L’Alcova has a small wellness area which can be enjoyed private -by reservation- with a sauna, a jacuzzi and fitness equipment. Massages are available on request. Relax in the piano lounge, by the open fire in the “fire room”, on the terrace or in the garden.

✅ free Wi-Fi ✅ free parking • Parque Nacional d’Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici: 20-minute drive • Gran Pallars (Portainé y Espot Esquí): 30-minute drive • Baqueira Beret: 40-minute drive • pets welcome (also in the restaurant)
