Amsterdam’s Dylan Hotel has unveiled a range of 16 revamped rooms under the “Amber” style range, completing the 40-room boutique hotel with its current “Loft” (of Anouska Hempel fame), “Loxura” and “Serendipity” ranges. The Amber rooms have been re-imagined by Paul Linse of Studio Linse, Amsterdam in co-operation with the Dylan’s management team. Studio Linse already designed the hotel’s Bar Brasserie OCCO, which complements the hotel’s Michelin starred Vinkeles restaurant.
The bespoke Amber rooms have a residential feel with soft lines, luxurious wall-to-wall carpeting, muted colours and natural tactile materials: marble, wood, and brass. Room facilities include a custom-made bar with the hotel’s own cuvée Riesling Trocken, a large selection of wines and beers, soft drinks, snacks, vitamine tablets, a detox kit, and chocolates by Original Beans. Frette bathrobes, linens and slippers plus James Heeley toiletries adorn the bathrooms.
