A DNA Hotels’ favourite, Parkhotel Bellevue & Spa in Adelboden is a stylish indie hotel from the 1930s where tradition meets charming Scandinavian and mid-century design. The timelessly elegant design consists of a linear, classical and streamlined modernistic style (a former sanatorium) contrasting with the rustic village and spectacular Alpine landscape. A renovated lobby features furniture by Finn Juhl, Wegner and Gio Ponti. All this creates a truly authentic hotel experience.
The hotel is located in an elevated position close to the cable car station of Adelboden. All cable cars and the bus station are easily accessible in a few minutes on foot.
Bright and airy rooms come in three different styles: Nature, Classic and Privilege. All feature modern, high-class furniture. In every direction, there are views of the mountains.
The extensive 1,700m2 spa (refurbished 2009) offers heated outdoor (34º) and indoor (29º) pools. Other amenities include saunas, steam baths and an up-to-date fitness facilities. There are training programs, rental mountain bikes, a play room for kids and guided hikes. There is a magnificent garden with sun terrace and a gourmet restaurant serving Franco-Swiss cuisine which has been awarded 14 Gault Millau points. The Bar has a great selection of wines.
