Sister to the Lloyd’s Inn Singapore, a DNA Hotels’ favourite, the Bali property has opened in a former budget hotel at Seminyak’s Double Six Beach, a lively neighbourhood much favoured by local hipsters and surf aficionados. Light-filled, raw concrete interiors blur the line with the exterior tropical landscaping. Canyon-like walls screen off neighbour’s preying eyes to enclose gardens, a long lap pool lined with Balinese slate tiles, and pebbled courtyards sprinkled with water hammocks and sofa pods, the whole linked by a narrow sky-bridge.
Minimalist rooms come with a balcony or terrace, many with open-air tubs. All rooms are fully air-conditioned, and come with an en-suite bathroom, a safe, housekeeping, toiletries, a mirror, a hairdryer, a TV, and breakfast inclusive.
There is an all-day restaurant and bar serving Indonesian and Asian favourites. Small spa, lounge and 24-hour front desk.
