Royalton Antigua Resort & Spa is housing the Caribbean’s first-ever overwater bungalows.
The 294-room hotel which opened on May 1st now also offers the adult-only “Chairman Overwater Bungalows”. Each is equipped with a king-size bed, a living room, a dining room, a swim-out infinity plunge pool, an over-water hammock, snorkel gear, Bluetooth speakers and jacuzzi soaker tubs. In each suite, guests can utilize standard In-Suite Wellness features like ceiling mounted rain showers, large two-person soaker tubs and “DreamBed” mattresses.
In addition to the amenities, private transfers, seamless check-in, butler service, sunset mixology and personal fitness/yoga classes are available for guests. When the sun goes down, guests can also enjoy craft beer and light bites while watching the game at SCORE Brewhouse or head down to the casino. Younger guests can swim in the splash pad, go to the Clubhouse Kids Club or Hangout Teens Lounge, and play non-motorized water sports. Free high-speed Wi-Fi is available resort-wide for all devices, along with unlimited Reservation Free Dining allowing à la carte dinners at any restaurant, any time, and 24-hours room service.
